No wonder this method of barbecuing pork is popular in Transylvania.

Poor pigs. :-( After seeing this photo, I think I will become vegetarian for a week or so.

About Andreas Moser

Travelling the world and writing about it. I have degrees in law and philosophy, but I'd much rather be a journalist, a spy or a hobo.

  1. Dante says:

    Poor pigs

After all, they are already dead when being impaled like this.

  2. deeess says:

So poor old Vlad the Impaler, was actually just the town butcher? And not this evil blood-sucking garlic-fearing man that history has told us he was?

    • He was. Except for the garlic part. That one was made up by some Irish writer. And ever since, people confuse the historical Vlad III with the fictional Dracula, much to the dismay of people in Transylvania.
