It’s Sunday morning. The rest of the family are at church or have gone swimming, so you have time to watch some of your favourite James Bond films again. Casino Royale is at the top of that list, not least due to the fantastic chase across the construction site on Madagascar:
Some fans are not content with merely watching this scene over and over. They have to re-enact it. But one guy in Russia took the inspiration a step further and did his own crane stunts:
Crazy. But impressively crazy. That guy would probably laugh at this.
Next time you walk past a crane and have 15 minutes to spare, try it yourself.
I’d NEVER!!!!!! Heights scare me….bigtime!!
I also like Casino Royale, but for the poker competition.Recently I found that when they foundation the CIA they inspired from Ian Fleming novels
The poker competition was great! I never would have thought that a poker game can be depicted in such an exciting way.
But given that the CIA was founded in 1947 and the first James Bond novel was published in 1953, I doubt that the former was inspired by the latter. Actually, even if the timeline would be reversed, I would doubt that the establishment of an intelligence agency would be inspired by a novel. Let’s not forget also that OSS already operated from 1942 onwards and was kind of transformed into the CIA after World War II.
Um .. no. Heck no. Effin’ heck no! If God wanted us up 30 stories, he’d have made us all 300′ tall! :D
Besides, isn’t it hard fighting on top of a long-legged bird? ;)
