Poetry Slam (1) Cigar

Afghanistan bazaar 1950sMy first attempt at travel poetry:

I went to the bazaar
in Kandahar
and bought a cigar
from a guy called Bashar.

Don’t worry. I will continue to write predominantly in prose.

(Zur deutschen Version.)

About Andreas Moser

Travelling the world and writing about it. I have degrees in law and philosophy, but I'd much rather be a journalist, a spy or a hobo.

  2. Poetry
    Sure ain’t easy
    It’s all about rhyme
    Meter, and time.
    But you do
    What you can
    With words that
    Don’t fit the plan.
    And soon you’ll see
    That poetry
    Can be easy!
