A Bed on the Roof

Yesterday when I visited Užupis (more about this part of Vilnius later), I spotted two houses which both had an old bedframe on the roof.

Is this used as kind of an antenna? Or is it the place for the visiting mother-in-law to sleep at? If you know, please tell us! Thanks.

  1. Interesting, to say the least.
    Yeah, for mother-in-law.

why didn’t you just ask the occupants?

  3. Either TV or shortwave antennas (the square ones) and most likely satellite TV for the round ones. And a convenient walkway between, so you don’t fall off those sharply slanted roofs!
Either that, or military surplus radar to detect the mother-in-law, so you can track her and shoot her down BEFORE she gets to ya! :D
