During last year’s riots in London, the following photo of a burning Big Ben, London’s landmark, made the rounds. The photo was a fake, Big Ben was not hit by the riots.
But now Big Ben is really under threat. Not from the mob, but from the head of state.
In Britain’s never-ending quest to celebrate being ruled by the same unelected monarch for 60 years and in an apparent effort to kiss Queen Elizabeth II‘s ***, Parliament has decided to rename the “Big Ben Clock Tower” into “Elizabeth Tower”. Big Ben will be history. Dead. Gone.
Now that really calls for a riot!
If Queen Elizabeth II still had any decency left, she would say “no thanks”.
